- Helping students discover that they *can* learn is what motivates me every day.
About Me
I currently work in a high school with special education students. In December 2026, I will complete my Master of Science in Education and earn my Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (LBS-1) certification. I believe every student learns differently. My approach is patient, encouraging, and individualized. I take the time to understand each student's strengths, challenges, and learning style so I can build confidence while helping them master new skills. I create lessons that are engaging, structured, and focused on real progress. Before entering education, I spent many years in engineering and manufacturing management, where I developed strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. That experience helps me explain concepts in multiple ways and teach students practical strategies for tackling difficult assignments. My goal is not simply to help students complete homeworkI want them to become more independent, confident learners who believe in their own abilities. I work closely with families to celebrate progress, communicate openly, and create a positive learning experience for every student. I look forward to helping your child reach their full potential!
Hobbies & Interests
I am a mom to 4 children in high school, middle school and grade school. It's a busy life! I love music and movies. I enjoy reading, though I struggle to make the time for it. I volunteer with a Cub Scout Pack and my boys are all in a Scouting America Troop. We love to be in our community and schools.
