Hello! I'm Ms. Marion, and I'm excited to help you reach your academic goals. I hold bachelor's degrees in English and Biology from Michigan State University and a master's degree in Educational Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. I have nearly eight years of teaching experience, working with students in grades 512 in both traditional classrooms and online learning environments. My approach to tutoring is centered on each student's unique needs. I believe learning happens best when students feel supported, understood, and confident enough to ask questions. Whether you're preparing for an exam, improving your writing, strengthening your reading comprehension, or tackling a challenging assignment, I'll work with you to break down difficult concepts into manageable steps and build the skills you need to succeed independently. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, writing, and discovering great films as a self-proclaimed movie buff. I love spending time outdoors and staying active through hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, and other outdoor adventures. I'm also passionate about softball, enjoy exploring local coffee shops, and love discovering new music.
