As a tutor, my goal is to help students build confidence alongside their academic skills so they leave each session feeling more capable than when they arrived. I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and have experience tutoring students in reading comprehension and literacy. I enjoy helping students strengthen their writing, improve their reading skills, develop critical thinking, and approach challenging assignments with confidence. Whether we're reviewing grammar, organizing an essay, analyzing literature, or breaking down complex reading passages, I tailor each lesson to the student's individual learning style and goals. I believe every student can succeed with patience, clear explanations, and the right strategies. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, making macramé projects and junk journals, practicing yoga and Pilates, and learning about folklore from cultures around the world. I love creative hobbies and am always excited to learn something new, and I enjoy bringing that same curiosity and enthusiasm into my tutoring sessions.
