One thing that has been constant throughout my career in science and education has been helping people learn, grow, and succeed. That focus has shaped every stage of my professional journey, from early toxicology research to graduate training in the biological sciences, to long career in higher education. While the settings have changed over time, my attention has consistently gravitated toward the design of learning experiences that support of students working toward meaningful goals.

I have two dogs, so a lot of my free time is based around playing and walking them. Whenever possible, I like to find new coffee shops and prefer locally owned places with a great atmosphere. I love getting to hang out with friends and play games, game nights are a huge favorite of mine!
