About Me

I am an English major with a Creative Writing concentration at Texas State University (senior), and I enjoy helping students become more confident readers and writers. My strongest areas include essay planning, thesis development, close reading, literary analysis, research paper structure, sentence clarity, and personal statements. My tutoring style is patient, clear, and step-by-step. I like helping students slow down, understand the assignment, organize their thoughts, and develop their own ideas in a stronger, clearer voice. I believe writing is organized thinking, and many students become less anxious once they can see the structure behind the task. My goal is not to take over a student's work, but to help them build the skills and confidence to write and learn more effectively on their own.
