  • My teaching style is patient, clear, and step-by-step.
  • I like to slow problems down and explain the reasoning behind each answer instead of having students just memorize reactions.

About Me

I'm Musa, a Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Illinois Chicago with a strong interest in science, medicine, and helping students understand difficult material. I tutor Organic Chemistry because I know how overwhelming the subject can feel at first, especially when topics like mechanisms, resonance, stereochemistry, nomenclature, and synthesis start to build on each other. In a session, I can help students review confusing concepts, work through practice problems, prepare for quizzes or exams, and build a stronger foundation in Organic Chemistry I. Since I recently studied organic chemistry myself, I understand the common areas where students get stuck. My goal is to make lessons comfortable and supportive, so students feel okay asking questions and making mistakes while learning. Outside of academics, I'm interested in biomedical engineering, health science, and technology, and I enjoy using what I've learned to help others feel more confident in their coursework.

Hobbies & Interests

I’m interested in biomedical engineering, health science, and technology. I enjoy learning about how science can be applied to medicine and real-world problem solving. Outside of school, I like working on personal projects, learning new skills, and helping others understand difficult topics in a simple way. I also enjoy staying active, spending time with family and friends, and continuing to grow as a student and tutor.
