William
- My teaching philosophy is simple: Do good.
- I firmly believe that a well-balanced approach to instruction is the most effective approach.
About Me
That's it. How this is balanced, and what is balanced, should be unique to each instructor and subject. When I first began teaching, I naively thought that all I had to do was present the information, the students would retain it, and all would be well. I was so very wrong. The more time I spent instructing, the more I understood that effective teaching involves the engagement of the learner. The students' trust in me to guide them with purpose aids me in my goals to adapt my instruction with new technologies, to change my methods to benefit my students, so that, in the end, we both will have done good.
