About Me

My name is Daquan Jones, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed in mathematics. I have over four years of tutoring experience and enjoy working with students of all learning levels, especially in Pre-Algebra. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down formulas, equations, and multi-step problems into simple, easy-to-understand concepts. I believe that every student can be successful when they are given the right support, encouragement, and learning strategies. As an educator, I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop the confidence and problem-solving skills needed for long-term academic success. I enjoy helping students make connections between math concepts and real-world situations so that learning feels meaningful and engaging. Im Exited to work with you!
