About Me

Hi! My name is Tanisha, majoring in Statistics and Economics. I'm passionate about helping students build confidence in academics while making learning less stressful and enjoyable. I previously worked as an Independent Learning Instructor at Gideon Math & Reading, teaching Pre-K to high school students, supporting special education learners, and preparing students for gifted programs and SAT. I also found my own art tutoring business, creating custom lessons and teaching 20+ students. I've continued tutoring a wide range of subjects for the past 7 years. I love working with students of all ages and adapting my teaching style to fit each learner. My experience allows me to teach study strategies, critical thinking, and real-world applications. Beyond tutoring, I'm involved in STEM education research and projects with Southwest Airlines. My achievements include BPA International 2nd Place and the Congressional Silver Award.
