I bring 18 years of experience in elementary education to every tutoring session, including time as a classroom teacher, a dual language educator, and now as an instructional coach supporting teachers and students across an entire school district in North Texas. I specialize in early literacy, phonics, and foundational writing skills using evidence-based, structured literacy strategies. I also have extensive experience supporting bilingual learners. Outside of education, I enjoy baking, reading, and spending quality time with my family. I love being in the kitchen trying new recipes just as much as I love curling up with a good book; both are great ways to unwind and recharge.
