About Me

Hey, I'm John, and I'm currently a rising junior at Duke University studying Economics and Political Science. I scored a 1570 (800 math, 770 EBRW) on my SAT, and have helped numerous personal friends and family friends improve their SAT scores through personalized tutoring. All of my students have scored above a 1450, and one student I worked with jumped from 1140 to 1550 in three months (a 410-point increase). Whatever your starting point, I focus on finding exactly where you're losing points and building a plan around those specific gaps. Outside of tutoring, I spent last summer as an investment banking summer analyst at Lazard, and I'm an incoming 2027 summer business analyst at McKinsey & Company in New York City.
