About Me

I'm Professor of Philosophy at Auburn University, and have also taught at UNC Chapel Hill and U. Michigan. A.B. from Harvard, Ph.D. from Cornell. I've been teaching philosophy for nearly four decades, at both undergrad and grad levels. Philosophy can seem alien to a beginner, but I believe that it's just a more systematic version of questions we all face and ways of thinking we already use in everyday life. I look forward to helping guide you through the exciting world of philosophy!
