About Me

Hello! My name is Karly Semenov, and I am an ESL/ELL tutor (English as a Second Language / English Language Learners). I have taught academic English to international students at my local university and have met with students one-on-one to work on general English skills in the area of their choosing. I'm humbled and privileged to help people pursue their educational and/or personal goals. I believe tutoring sessions should be catered to a student's specific needs, contain authentic language that students will actually use in the future, and be upbeat and engaging. My lessons will be conversational so that students will get plenty of opportunities to practice their speaking skills.
