I'm part of South Carolina's highly ranked International Business program, and I was named to the President's List during my first two semesters. I scored a 1470 on the SAT, with a 770 in Reading and Writing and a 700 in Math, and I also earned the International Baccalaureate diploma with higher level coursework in Math, Biology, and Chemistry. Academically, I've always loved both math and writing. In math, I especially enjoy integral calculus because I like breaking complex problems into clear steps. In writing, I enjoy creative writing because it allows you to communicate ideas in a thoughtful and engaging way. That combination helps shape my tutoring style: I focus on both clear strategy and clear communication. When I tutor, I don't just review content. I help students understand how the SAT is structured, how to recognize common question patterns, how to avoid trap answers, and how to approach problems more efficiently. My goal is to make the test feel less overwhelming and help students build confidence one step at a time. Outside of academics, I play hockey, golf, and tennis, and I'm involved with club hockey and golf at South Carolina. I also love watching sports, so I enjoy connecting with students both academically and personally. I look forward to helping students improve their skills, build confidence, and reach their SAT goals.
