I am a developmental educator who believes in the potential of every student. Developmental education means meeting students where they are and helping underprepared students prepare, prepared students advance, and advanced students excel. I continually reflect on my teaching practices, value relationship-based learning, strive to create a safe learning environment, and encourage students to become lifelong learners.

I like to read, sing karaoke, listen to live bands, go on my daily walks, and spend treasured time with family and friends. I have two children, but they are young adults now! MY daughter is 25; my son is 23!
