Michael

I earned my bachelor's and master's at the University of Virginia. During my career I taught American and World History, Civics, Economics and Personal Finance, and even English 11 one year. I have been an online tutor for the past five years, helping students from preschool to post graduate. My goal is to help all students learn, and I strive to create a positive, fun environment that helps students be the best that they can be.

With three kids, including a ten-month old at home, my available time for interests and hobbies has been sharply limited. Nevertheless, when I can carve out a few minutes (for example, during my kids' karate class), I love to read, I love to walk, and I've been trying to learn Spanish via Duolingo.
