About Me

As a classroom teacher for thirty years, I can emphatically state that education is very important to me. I earned my bachelor's and master's at the University of Virginia. During my career I taught American and World History, Civics, Economics and Personal Finance, and even English 11 one year. I have been an online tutor for the past five years, helping students from preschool to post graduate. My goal is to help all students learn, and I strive to create a positive, fun environment that helps students be the best that they can be.
