I feel very strongly about enabling students to "learn how to learn." My teaching approach prioritizes critical thinking and understanding the building blocks of the material that you are learning, rather than rote memorization of information and equations. I had an extraordinary and rather unique math and science education in high school, which paved the way for a successful college experience (MIT math major) and career as a data scientist.

I love both anything that gets me outside and creative hobbies! I spend a lot of my free time hiking, camping, snowboarding, longboarding, traveling, reading, crafting, and watercolor painting - I really enjoy having a lot of extracurricular hobbies :)
