Hello! My name is Hannah, and I am a master's student graduating this May with a strong interest in teaching, learning design, and children's cognitive development. My teaching style is encouraging, structured, and empathetic. I am especially comfortable working with younger students and focus on creating a learning environment where students feel supported and not overwhelmed. I design lessons with students' attention and processing needs in mind, helping them break tasks into manageable steps and understand how they learn. In addition to academic support, I emphasize strong study habits such as taking effective breaks, practicing self-reflection, and gradually building independence. Long-term, I plan to work in learning design and development, and tutoring allows me to refine student-centered teaching practices that support meaningful learning.
