I am an intellectually curious, patient, and highly adaptive tutor who believes that the most effective learning happens when students understand how they think, not just what they get right or wrong. My approach centers on meeting students where they areacademically, cognitively, and personallyand helping them develop confidence, independence, and analytical clarity. I place strong emphasis on identifying each student's learning style and using that awareness to tailor explanations, examples, and practice. Rather than simply correcting mistakes, I encourage students to analyze why an answer didn't work and to recognize what they did correctly in the process. In English and humanities subjects, I guide students to engage deeply with texts by focusing on what the author actually providesobjects, events, characters, language choices, and implicationsrather than relying on vague impressions or memorized interpretations. I help students learn how to support their ideas with evidence, think critically about meaning, and articulate their insights clearly and confidently. I am calm, supportive, and structured in my teaching style, while also encouraging curiosity and independent thought. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but to help them become more self-aware learners who trust their reasoning, take intellectual risks, and feel capable of growth.
