About Me

Hello! I'm Anabel! I am a junior at the University of Oklahoma who is thrilled to tutor you or your child in English! On the ACT, I earned a 36 in English and a 35 in Reading, and on the PSAT, I earned a 740/760 on the English portions. I also earned a 5 on the AP exams for AP English Literature and Composition, AP English Language and Composition, AP Music Theory, and AP US Government and Politics. I have been a substitute teacher for a year, and I have learned skills such as classroom management, one-on-one tutoring strategies, and ways to effectively communicate complicated ideas and subject matters. I intend to work closely with parents and guardians to create personalized lesson plans for students that will most optimally help them grow and learn at a pace that feels comfortable. I am comfortable tutoring any student K-12, and I have worked with ages 3-18. I also have experience with children with autism and other developmental conditions. Please feel free to reach out!
