About Me

Hi! My name is Avi, and I am a recent Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a strong passion for math and helping students build confidence in their abilities. I specialize in SAT Math as well as middle school and high school level math, including algebra, geometry, and pre calculus. I believe math does not have to feel intimidating. My goal is to break concepts down in a clear and relatable way so students truly understand the material rather than just memorizing formulas. I tailor each session to the student's learning style, whether they prefer step by step explanations, visual examples, or real world applications. Having gone through rigorous coursework myself, I understand the pressure students face when preparing for exams like the SAT. I focus not only on improving scores, but also on building problem solving skills and test taking strategies that help students feel confident and prepared. I am patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in my students' success.
