I am an experienced elementary educator with over a decade of teaching experience, including serving as a 2nd-, 4th-, and 6th-grade classroom teacher. I hold both a Master's degree and a Doctorate in Education, with a specialization in social studies education. I have worked with a wide range of learners and understand the developmental differences across elementary grades, which helps me tailor instruction to meet each child exactly where they are. I am especially skilled at supporting students who feel overwhelmed by reading-heavy assignments, unfamiliar vocabulary, or fast-paced classroom instruction.
