About Me

My name is Rafael Ladmer-Price, and I aim to be a friendly, patient, and adaptable tutor with experience teaching English, reading, math, science, and web development to students of many ages and skill levels. Through my work as a classroom teacher and long-term substitute with Jefferson County Public Schools, I learned how to break down complex ideas into clear, approachable lessons while supporting students with different learning styles. I have a strong academic background in mathematics, including algebra through calculus, and in the sciences, supported by a Bachelor of Arts and years of tutoring experience that began as early as middle school when I was teaching my little sister with dyslexia how to overcome her learning disability and find the joy of reading. Alongside my teaching background, I am a frontend developer who builds real-world projects using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which allows me to teach web development in a hands-on and practical way. I focus on building understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills. My goal is to work with you to create a supportive learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and making progress!
