About Me

As a dedicated educator with a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Alabama, I am passionate about fostering a love for learning in my students. With over 2 years of tutoring experience and 10 years of working with students in various environments, I specialize in subjects such as Reading, English, Math, and Science for elementary school students. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive environment where students feel empowered to explore and ask questions. I utilize engaging methodologies, including the Orton-Gillingham approach for reading intervention, to help students achieve their academic goals. I am motivated by the joy of seeing students gain confidence and succeed in their studies, and I enjoy incorporating creative activities to make learning enjoyable. In my free time, I love reading and exploring new educational resources to continually enhance my teaching practice.
