I'm Jake Kurt, an active EMT and Firefighter with extensive field experience, including four hurricane deployment responses supporting EMS operations in high-impact environments. Along with my fire service background, I hold multiple HazMat credentials and have worked in both emergency medical and technical response settings. These experiences have shaped my ability to remain calm under pressure, make clear decisions, and translate real-world lessons into practical, understandable guidance for students. As I begin offering EMS tutoring, my goal is to help new and advancing EMS professionals build confidence in assessment, decision-making, and exam preparation. I focus on simplifying difficult concepts, reinforcing operational thinking, and preparing students for the realities of fieldwork, not just the test.
