About Me

As a graduate with a Bachelor's in Psychology and Biology from Denison University, I bring a unique perspective to my tutoring approach. With over two years of experience in both classroom and tutoring settings, I specialize in Elementary School English, Reading, and Writing, as well as Middle and High School English. I also have experience with elementary school math and science. My philosophy centers on fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves and develop their skills. I am passionate about helping students discover the joy of reading and writing, tailoring my methods to meet their individual needs and learning styles. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, taking long walks, and spending time with my friends, which helps to further connect with my students.
