About Me

I graduated from Eastern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Teaching English as a Second Language. Along the way, I earned my PA Instructional I Teacher Certification for Spanish (PK-12) and a Program Specialist Certification for ESL (PK-12). I also have a Trauma Informed Professional Certification from the Lakeside Global Institute, which really shapes the way I support and connect with students. I've worked with students in lots of different settings and age groups--- from infants to adults! Each experience has taught me something new. I spent several rewarding years teaching high school Spanish to 10th-12th graders, helping everyone from brand-new learners to fluent heritage speakers grow their skills and confidence. When it comes to tutoring, I love diving into anything related to language and communication Spanish, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Writing are my specialties. Spanish holds a special place in my heart because it's not just about words; it's about discovering new cultures and ways of thinking. There's nothing like seeing a student go from memorizing vocabulary to actually having real conversations and making meaningful connections. I'm passionate about helping students because I truly believe learning can empower and connect us. My goal is to create a tutoring environment where everyone feels safe, supported, and seen for who they are. I'm all about encouragement, patience, and adapting my approach to fit your needs. I make sure students feel comfortable trying new things even when that means making mistakes because that's how real growth happens, especially when learning a language.
