About Me

As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in Film and Video Production from Columbia College Chicago, I have over 5 years of tutoring experience, complemented by more than 10 years in the classroom. I specialize in AP English Language and Literature, as well as creative writing and elementary English skills. I also have experience working with struggling readers at the middle school level. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves and explore their creativity. I believe that every student has unique strengths, and I strive to tailor my approach to meet their individual needs. Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring storytelling through filmmaking and screenwriting, which enriches my ability to connect with students.
