I've been fascinated with cameras since I was a kid. But when I took my first darkroom class in college, I fell in love. It's so magical watching a photo appear in the development tray. I love shooting film. Its inherently limited nature makes you slow down and appreciate the process. My goal is to share my 15+ years of digital and film photography experience with you and set you up on a path of success. Film, and especially darkroom, can seem mysterious, but we'll navigate the path together!

I love traveling and have been to over 35 countries. This year I spent a lot of time in the garden growing 4 different kinds of tomatoes. I also love cooking and made many dishes with those homegrown tomatoes. I read a lot, especially science fiction and self help.
