About Me

As a passionate educator with a bachelor's degree in Geology from Arkansas Tech University and I am a licensed Geologist-In-Training in the state of Arkansas. I have over 3 years of tutoring experience in subjects such as Environmental Science, Earth Science, and geology, from the elementary-level to college-level. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their curiosity and develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts. I believe in making learning engaging by connecting real-world applications to the material, which not only enhances comprehension but also ignites a love for science. I am dedicated to helping students achieve academic success and build confidence in their abilities, and I find joy in witnessing their growth and enthusiasm for learning. I love getting to know students so that my methods serve them and their learning styles. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy hiking, camping, and playing video games with my family.
