About Me
I'm a senior at Brown University studying Behavioral Decision Science (which includes politics, linguistics, and psychology). For years, I have worked with kids of all ages as a summer camp counselor and tutored high school students for a couple of years before studying abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland. I love tutoring English and math, and am very confident in my ability to tutor for exam prep, whether that be AP or SAT. My philosophy centers on independence and growth, emphasizing the act of learning more than anything else.
Hobbies & Interests
My interests are many: I have a passion for comedy, having been a part of multiple sketch comedy groups as a writer, director, and actor. I was captain of the Congressional speech and debate team at my high school, where I was nationally ranked. In college, I've been the head of the Model UN travel team, and currently work as a staff writer for the political magazine here. As far as my hobbies, I absolutely love TV. I'm rewatching 30 Rock right now, and just started The Sopranos. Video games are also great, I'm a big fan of single-player titles (trying to beat the Elden Ring DLC), and have been very invested in Mario Kart with my roommates. I love to read, cook, and generally create. I've been spending a lot of time in the sculpture studio and work as a freelance graphic designer for any clubs or students who need a new logo or flyer.
