About Me

As a dedicated educator with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master's degree in Teaching and years of experience in both the military and industry, I also bring years of experience in tutoring and teaching Physics and Mathematics. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a relationship where students are encouraged to think and discuss concepts so they learn from mistakes and develop skills. I guide to create understanding and growth in my students, gained by discussion and collaborative problem solving. I liken it to how I learned to fly jet aircraft in the military...by taking the stick and doing, not watching. Currently certified to teach in Michigan, I take pride in equipping my students with critical thinking and communication skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom.
