About Me

I graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and received my teaching license. I have worked with students from various backgrounds in a variety of subjects including English, Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies for elementary students. My favorite subject to tutor is Math because there are various strategies for one concept. I find great joy in helping students achieve their academic goals and develop a love for learning. My teaching philosophy is focused on supporting and engaging the students in a learning environment where students feel confident to explore and ask questions. I strive to connect with each student as an individual and adjust my technique to meet their unique needs and learning styles. In my free time, I enjoy being outside, doing brain teasers, having fun with family and friends, and learning new things.
