As a passionate educator with a Master of Science in Food Science from North Carolina State University, I am dedicated to helping students understand complex biological concepts. My research on the gut microbiome and cardiovascular disease has deepened my appreciation for the intricacies of life sciences, which I convey in my tutoring. With over 2 years of experience in tutoring subjects such as AP Biology, Biochemistry, and general biology, I strive to create a supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking. I believe that when students connect with the material, they are more likely to achieve academic success. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring the latest scientific literature and engaging in outdoor activities, which helps me bring a real-world perspective to my teaching.
