Having graduated with honors from Clemson University, with a Bachelor's degree in History, in 2024, my strongest subjects for tutoring are APUSH, AP Euro, AP Human Geography, and most other subjects under the umbrella of history and English. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a down to earth, supportive learning environment regardless of where a student is at with the content, and encouraging students to draw their own unique perspectives from the class content, as one of the most valuable skills I've gained from my experience studying the humanities is the ability to think critically about the world. I believe in tailoring my approach to meet individual learning styles, and I always seek to help students draw conclusions from historical concepts to their own lives and the world we live in today, as being able to personalize lessons and takeaways is one of the most important reasons to study history (as the old saying goes, "those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it").
