About Me
With over eight years of experience teaching Medical Assisting students, I have developed a deep passion for helping future healthcare professionals build the knowledge, confidence, and critical thinking skills they need to succeed. Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of courses, including Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, and Medication Math, as well as comprehensive exam preparation for national certification exams. I strive to connect classroom learning to real-world clinical applications, helping students grasp not only the "what," but the "why" behind medical practices and procedures. I take pride in creating an encouraging, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to reach their full potential. Having guided hundreds of students through challenging coursework and exam preparation, I understand that every learner's journey is unique. I tailor my instruction to meet each student's individual needs, learning style, and goalswhether they are seeking to master complex subjects, strengthen test-taking skills, or build confidence in their clinical knowledge. My ultimate goal as a tutor is to empower students with the tools and understanding they need to excel academically, pass their certification exams, and begin their careers as competent and compassionate medical professionals.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy spending time with my family fishing, kayaking, and snowboarding. I work as a Medical Assisting instructor as Ross Medical College and love to help my students enjoy learning and become competent medical professionals.
