About Me
With Varsity Tutors, I tutor AP U.S. Government & Politics and AP U.S. History, having supported over 35 students. Each student who personally reported their scores to me earned a 4 or 5. As a community educator and historian, I'm earning my master's degree at Georgia State University, where my research covers the same history at the heart of these courses. I curate personalized learning plans from reputable sources, adding context from my scholarship and professional experience. Beyond the textbook, I show each student how to read context clues, build an argument from evidence, and communicate clearly. At Georgia State, I support its Early College program, engaging daily with high schoolers earning college credit. Every student has a unique set of strengths and challenges, so I build an individualized plan for each one's short- and long-term success.
