As a second-grade teacher with experience in creating engaging, differentiated lessons, I have developed strong skills in guiding students of different learning styles and abilities. Through my teaching, I have learned the importance of patience, clear communication, and building strong relationships with students and families. I strive to make learning enjoyable and meaningful by connecting academic concepts to real-life experiences. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve their academic performance but also to build their confidence, independence, and love of learning. I am excited about the opportunity to work with Varsity Tutors because it allows me to extend my impact beyond the classroom, reaching students who need individualized support. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, baking, and exploring new ways to make learning fun and creative. In my free time, I love spending time with family, trying new recipes, and staying active through walking and outdoor activities. I also enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures, which inspires me to bring diverse perspectives into my teaching.
