Hi, I'm Teryl Lowry! I bring 8 years of experience working in education. I'm passionate about helping students succeed in secondary science through a holistic approach that supports both their academic growth and personal confidence. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Educational Technology. My teaching philosophy is rooted in creating a supportive, engaging environment that meets each student's unique needswhether that's targeted homework help, strategic test preparation, or building confidence in their abilities. I believe every student has the potential to thrive, and I take pride in celebrating their progress every step of the way.

Outside of tutoring, I love spending time outdoors and appreciating nature by hiking, swimming, and playing soccer. I have a soft spot for my cat, Vader, who keeps life fun and cozy. I also work part-time as a server at a local restaurant in Charlotte, NC, which has strengthened my communication and multitasking skills. Whenever I can, I love traveling and discovering new places, cultures, and experiences.
