About Me

As a board certified genetic counselor with a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge in biology and psychology with students. I took AP biology myself when I was in high school, and I have prior experience tutoring for this course. I have over two years of tutoring experience in subjects such as Genetics, AP Biology, College Biology, High School Biology, and Psychology, where I focus on creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. My teaching philosophy revolves around connecting with students to foster their curiosity and critical thinking skills, ensuring they grasp complex concepts. I believe that education should not only be about imparting knowledge but also about inspiring students to explore the world around them. I look forward to helping my students achieve their academic goals while instilling a love for science.
