As a passionate educator working toward a Doctorate in Education focusing on Student Support Services, I bring over 1 year of tutoring experience and more than 17 years of classroom teaching to my role. My expertise spans elementary to high school English, reading, and writing, as well as specialized methods like Orton-Gillingham for reading instruction. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment that fosters student engagement and confidence. My approach is tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring they feel valued and understood. I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals while instilling a love for learning. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading and exploring new educational strategies to enhance my teaching practice.

I love spending time outdoors, whether it's camping, swimming, or finding a metro park to explore. I also spend a lot of time working on my physical fitness and nutrition.
