Fluent in Spanish, I developed my language skills through formal education and immersive experiences. I earned a degree in Foreign Language and International Trade with an emphasis in Spanish, studying the language throughout high school, college, and graduate school. My linguistic and cultural fluency was further deepened through a study abroad program in Alicante, Spain, and a seven-month academic and professional experience in Monterrey, Mexico, as part of my International MBA. While there, I completed a fully immersive internship at Cemex, using Spanish daily in a business environment. Professionally, I also served as an account executive for two Spanish-language media companies, applying my Spanish skills in both written and spoken communication. In addition to my corporate experience, I have tutored ESL students through the online platform VIPKid, helping non-native speakers develop their English language skills. These combined experiences have given me a strong command of Spanish, cross-cultural sensitivity, and a passion for language education.

My most important role is Mom to four wonderful and busy kids. In my (rare!) free time, I enjoy reading historical fiction, watching British detective shows, and cooking dinner while listening to salsa music.
