As an educator with a Doctorate in Education Leadership, a Specialist in Reading K-12, and a Masters in Elementary Education and over fifteen years of tutoring and classroom experience, I am passionate about fostering literacy and confidence in my students. I specialize in reading instruction for diverse learners, from kindergarten to high school and college, using research-based strategies tailored to individual learning styles. My teaching philosophy centers on building strong relationships and creating engaging, supportive environments where students feel empowered to explore and grow. I believe that mastering reading opens doors to countless opportunities and is fundamental across all subjects. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading and exploring new educational methodologies, continually seeking to enhance my instructional approach. My dedication to student success drives me to adapt my lessons, ensuring lasting understanding and retention of knowledge so students develop the skills to become life-long learners.
