About Me

As a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity and Computer Science from Elmhurst College, I have over two years of tutoring experience, primarily focusing on computer programming languages such as C, Java, and Python. My passion for teaching stems from my belief that programming can be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts at their own pace. I utilize a hands-on approach, often demonstrating coding snippets and encouraging students to explain their understanding back to me, which reinforces their learning. I find great joy in helping students grasp challenging concepts, like linked lists, and witnessing their "aha" moments. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy working on personal coding projects and exploring new technologies, which keeps my enthusiasm for the subject alive.
