As the eldest daughter of hardworking immigrant parents, I grew up supporting my younger siblings with their English homework and school projects. From an early age, I saw firsthand how language can either be a barrier or a bridge and I've made it my mission to help others experience the latter. Today, I tutor K12 students in English, reading, and writing, as well as language learners in Spanish, Japanese, and English as a Second Language (ESL). I've also spent two years teaching English in Japan and served as Head Coach and Co-Director of a middle school speech and debate academy, where I taught public speaking and competitive debate. Whether you're a young student building literacy skills or an adult navigating a new language, I create a learning space that is safe, encouraging, and tailored to your natural rhythm.
