About Me

As a dedicated educator with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University, I have over two years of tutoring experience alongside my role as a fifth-grade teacher. Understanding the unique needs of each student is at the heart of my tutoring philosophy; I focus on scaffolding their learning to build confidence and mastery. I find immense satisfaction in motivating students, particularly in math, where I draw from my own challenges to help them develop effective strategies. Outside the classroom, my love for reading and traveling enriches my teaching perspective, allowing me to connect lessons to real-world experiences.
