About Me

I'm a recent graduate with over two years of experience as a writing tutor. As Head Tutor of my college's Writing Center, I worked with a diverse set of students with different backgrounds, interests, skills, and personalities. In this role, I developed a student-centered approach, helping young people evolve into better writers and critical thinkers. I believe that effective tutoring is a conversation, where building rapport is essential to creating a supportive learning environment. In every tutoring session, I help the student develop their own ideas, process, and style that will extend beyond just our sessions. I look forward to bringing my expertise in English, creative and academic writing, and critical thinking to help students discover their potential. I'm so excited to continue tutoring!
