As a graduate of Daytona State College with a Bachelor's in Exceptional Student Education, I am passionate about fostering a love for learning, particularly in mathematics. With over three years of experience teaching elementary school math, I've developed a knack for making this subject engaging and accessible. My teaching philosophy centers on understanding each student's unique interests and using them as motivational tools; I often incorporate elements from their hobbies into lessons, making learning relatable and enjoyable. I hold a reading endorsement and have experience tutoring students in both math and reading, allowing me to support diverse learning needs. In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature trails with my three dogs, which helps me recharge and brings fresh perspectives to my teaching.
