My name is Jeff and I am a passionate autodidact and lifelong learner. My passion is for the Humanities broadly: history, philosophy, religious studies, world languages, etc. My particular areas of specialization are Roman Catholic theology, Judaistik (Jewish Studies), and Germanistik (German Studies). I have long been an eager amateur polyglot. The languages which I've studied or in which I've attained some degree of proficiency include German, Latin, (Classical) Greek, (Classical & Modern) Hebrew, Arabic, Aramaic, Sanskrit, Irish, Yiddish, Spanish, Russian, and Anglo-Saxon.
