With 27 years as a Texas K-1 teacher and PK-2 Intervention Specialist, I specialize in reading and math (Orton Gillingham, Reading Simplified, Science of Reading trained) and support students with fine motor and speech needs. I am trained in Orton Gillingham, Reading Simplified, and the Science of Reading, with extensive professional development and certifications (Texas Reading/Math Academies). Having navigated reading challenges, myself and supported my daughter with Dyslexia, I offer both expertise and empathy. I'm dedicated to building student confidence, advocating for their needs (and yours!), and pursuing my Speech Language Pathologist degree to further enhance my skills.
